Homemade

Our chefs attach great importance to the origin and quality of the ingredients. Making as much as possible ourselves is therefore the motto and this is reflected in the culinary reputation. This begins with sweet, sun-ripened tomatoes for ketchup, continues with oven-fresh pastries and culminates in the farm’s own slaughter for the very best meat products.

The challenge

Make everything yourself

Soups & sauces, vegetables & meat stocks, pasta & co, everything is homemade, without adding artificial ingredients such as flavor enhancers and co. A quality difference that leaves noticeably more flavor on the palate and ensures enjoyment and health.

Production on-site

The “Extension of the Gourmet Workshop” is glass production facility in the heart of the Reiter Reserve. Since summer 2022, a bakery, pasta shop, ice cream factory and a pastry shop are in operation. Sustainable, homemade products for guests of the Supreme & Finest Family Hotel are produced here in the finest handwork with regional foods without adding any additives.

Meat & Sausages

Directly at the farm, our animals are slaughtered stress-free and in familiar surroundings. This gives us the best quality and allows us to process the whole animal for the best meat and sausage products.

Our wines

The noble winemaker father-son duo, Hans and Michael Schwarz vinify our grapes into impressive wines. The truly great wines, matured in oak barrels, forms the Panta Rhei series. Art to collect, a symbiosis of pleasure and art offer the Panta Lhei wines.

Desserts, fine or sweet pastries are the specialty of Lisi Schützenhöfer. Using time-honored craftsmanship, she and the team conjure up tarts, cakes, pralinés, petit fours,…

With our fresh, homemade pasta, we know exactly what’s in it, giving us full control over the flavor.

Cheese

The foundation for our Eng Alm cheese, awarded the golden cheese harp, was already laid by the grandfather of Karl J. Reiter. On the paddocks of the large Ahornbodens the dairy cows feast on fresh alpine grass and valuable mountain herbs whereby already the raw material milk has a superior quality. Made according to ancient tradition, our Enger Alpcheese matures for 12 months and offers a very special taste experience.

Juices & Jams

From our naturally managed meadow orchards come the source products for most of our juices. Freshly in the press and naturally cloudy bottled, these are characterized by intense flavor and special aroma.

Salts

Not all salt is the same. Together with carefully matched herbs and spices available in different flavors.

Syrup

Fruity-sweet refreshment with our homemade syrup. The varieties vary depending on the season.

Selbstgemachtes Pesto

Pesto

Our herb garden in the reserve provides us with everything we need for delicious pestos. For the tasteful rounding we use Reiter’s olive oil from Greek Koroneiki olives.

Olive Oil

The olives come from the historical region near the Nestor Palace and have already witnessed the Battle of Navarino. From the tree you overlook the sea and the Gulf of Pylos.
Olives from two groves with different locations provide a special taste experience, produced exclusively for Reiters Gourmet Workshop. First grade, obtained directly with mechanical processes by cold pressing.

Bread

In our gourmet workshop we produce brown bread in the traditional way. The sourdough is mixed with the best cereal flour and gets its resting time in a natural way.

Ice cream

Creamy smooth, made without artificial additives from fresh cow’s milk. The changing fruit ice cream varieties such as strawberry, blood orange, cherry, lemon,… consist of 40-45% fresh fruit and are purely vegetable.
